In addition to our inclusive, play-enriched childcare, the KITE Learning Center also offers high-quality ESL courses for caregivers, allowing families with children enrolled in KITE to be eligible to apply for childcare assistance during class hours through the Ohio Department of Jobs and Family Services. 

 

Kite's English courses coincide with the Learning Center calendar, running from September to May, with both full- and part-time options available. Morning sessions are from 9 a.m. - 12 p.m., and afternoon from 12 - 3p.m. Transportation may be available upon request. 

 

While ESL learners have the option to enroll in morning-only or afternoon-only sessions, sessions will vary: morning classes focus on theory and conversation, while afternoon classes will be practicum-based, putting theory to work! Courses are free, but a $20 fee to cover curriculum and supplies is required of all students.
